Bjarni the Landlord
Today my tenant and I signed the lease and she paid rent for the first time. I dutifully set 20% aside in a separate account for taxes next year. I also made a couple of calls to look into getting a fire escape for the apartment and tomorrow I will visit to remove some unwanted furniture and install doors in the hallway. Like a landlord!
On the personal side of things, I have decided which washing machine to buy for my new place and the bank finished sorting out my finances, so I no longer have a big gigantic overdraft.
Everything is falling into place.
