Yesterday I broke up (again) with a girl that was never officially my girlfriend. She never quite managed to become my girlfriend because we kept breaking up before reaching any sort of stable point and then getting drawn back together again in spite of ourselves. It was an exhausting cycle, powerful attraction vs. an unresolvable disagreement.
Neither of us wanted it to end, but neither of us was about to change our minds either. We had a good chat last night, resisted all temptation and I think we managed to break the cycle. So today I am happily heartbroken.
That makes sense, right?
I should probably listen to Nine Inch Nails or something.
Update: Yeah, so that lasted about a week... ;-) But some things got recalibrated, which was probably good. It's still super casual.
