This weekend Unnur and I didn't do any partying - we worked on our apartment for a change.

Unnur painted our part of the stairwell (a task which has needed doing since we moved in) and I cut tiles, drilled holes in tiles and stuck tiles to the various hard-to-reach walls which were left over since the last time we worked on it. Edda helped out lots - she's been very industrious for the past week (she went home yesterday).

We aren't nearly finished, but we've made lots of progress and we aim to complete the tasks by working the next few evenings.

Last night I got a phone call from Árni - he's home! Hopefully we'll be able to get together with him tonight.
