Today I sent a message to the KDE developers, requesting that they make some sort of announcement so their general user base would be aware that their SSL implementation is incomplete - in a pretty bad way. Follow the link for more info.

Yesterday I uploaded to www.is.kde.org KDE 2.0 RPM files, which work with RedHat 6.2. RedHat have so far only released RPM packages for RedHat 7.0.

I'm not quite willing to tell the whole world about this, if I did the poor machine would get pretty badly slashdotted. But feel free to tell your friends and spread the word "by hand". I just don't want that URL to appear on any of the major news sites or mailing lists...

KDE 2.0 is very cool.
