Irritated at Slashdot for a change

2000-05-12 19:52
Usually, I just love Slashdot. It's a wonderful site. But I can't help but feel that this whole Microsoft suing them thing is rather ironic, considering that they don't keep user comments accessible anyway. Microsoft needn't have sued. They could have just waited a couple of weeks.

I'm griping, because my dad pointed out to me that this link contains no content - and the comment it pointed to contained a much more valuable insight than the snippets of Kerberos info that Microsoft is clamouring to have them censor.

To be fair, maybe this has something to do with them having just moved the site to a new server. It looks like a bug. But I'm going to vent anyway, because I really don't like Slashdot's habit of breaking links by reshuffling their content once it reaches a certain age.
