Here I was, all innocently writing about geeky things and listening to Slayer thrash away at their instruments, when suddenly I heard this young girl's voice calling for attention.

"Ooww... Hello? Hellooo?"

It took a few seconds for the small voice to penetrate my concentration, at which point I literally jumped in my chair.

"Let me out of here..." she cried.

What the fuck? I looked around, I was alone.

It seemed to be coming from the computer speakers. My heartbeat slowed down a bit. Had someone hacked my machine with some sort of joke program? Skype wasn't open...

Oh.

Turns out it's just Slayer being silly buggers about 3 minutes into the song "Dead Skin Mask" and I've either never listened to that track before, or just never noticed the creepy girl calling for help.

I wonder what she's sampled from?
