This weekend I've been playing with swftools again. I think this time I may have created something useful!
I wrote Crystat, a Flash program which displays active network connections in real-time. This involved learning a bit of Flash and actionscript, revising some high-school trigonometry and writing a simple CGI backend in Perl.
Watch the "crystal" rotate and change shape as computers on the Internet connect and disconnect from Klaki.
Nerdy fun for the whole family!
