I have discovered that in Italy, holding up two fingers while ordering a double vodka is a bad idea. You end up with not one but two glasses, and not just a double vodka but a full glass of the stuff.

On the other hand, it didn't cost much, I didn't need anything else to drink for the rest of the evening and I wasn't hung over the next morning.

Mmm, vodka.
