Last night I was taking a bath and thinking about parenting (no, Unnur's not pregnant!) and different approaches to life. I decided that it would probably be best for my kids if I taught them to play Calvin-ball - it would teach them important lessons such as: think fast, don't respect authority, expect change, rules are tools...

This inspired me to come up with a new motto: Life is a game of Calvin-ball - if you aren't winning, change the rules.

The weekend version: Life is a game of Plimmo - if you aren't getting drunk fast enough, change the rules..

If you don't know what Calvin-ball is, then you haven't read enough Calvin and Hobbes. I don't expect you to know what Plimmo is. :-)
