I've been using eBay for the same purposes for some time now. Great way to find your stuff! One word of advice: It normally pays to wait till the last possible moment to place your bid. Also keep in mind that postage and handling to Iceland is sometimes more expensive than the goods you're buying. But who's counting stamps here?

Have you concidered trying Opera on Lufsa? I've installed it on old machines with good results. It is known for being standards compliant.
