But the organic food industry isn't just about making the animals more happy (at least here in Denmark). It's about taking care of all the environment, not using chemicals that kill everything just to be on the "safe" side. The effect of many of the chemicals used are unknown, the consumer is being given the benefit of the doubt. We have all seen what happens when anti-biotica is over-used. The stuff that is being sprayed on plants sifts through the earth and into the water. I prefer not to have loads of drugs and chemicals in my drinking water.
